The landscape from the top of the Benacantil mountain is astonishing and everyone should take the time to visit this impressive castle and to admire its beauty and breathtaking landscapes.
Parque el Palmeral
The Palmeral Park is a green explosion of paradise, surrounded by botanical wildlife, waterfalls and a lot of palm trees. Whenever you feel like having a relaxing day in the middle of the nature, visit this wonderful park, which is the largest palm-grove in Europe, planted by the first Muslims to settle here in the early-middle ages. The Moors are the pioneers of such a marvel, introducing to Spain the phoenix dactylifera, which outnumbers the other types of palm trees in this extraordinary garden of paradise. The grove is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it’s definitely worth visiting!
