These are the most anticipated TV series of 2018 and 2019 – Part 2

These are the most anticipated TV series of 2018 and 2019 and we are all eager to know everything about the shows that keep us indoors entertained on a cold afternoon.

Netflix has attained more and more popularity throughout the years and the original series are pouring in. One new and welcome addition to the portfolio is a pretty popular show named Lucifer, who was cancelled by FOX after 3 seasons, much to the dismay and dissatisfaction of fans, just to be saved by Netflix, who promises the new season, which has apparently already started filming, will start airing sometime in 2019. Based on the comic books created by British writer Neil Gaiman, the show follows the (mis) adventures of a… somewhat reformed and humanized Devil, played by Tom Ellis as he partners with a lady detective and start fighting crime as a means of doing what the devil does best: punishing the evildoers.

2019 should bring us back another show inspired by a Neil Gaiman book: American Gods, the Amazon original series being delayed for the second season, although fans from all around the world are eagerly waiting.

This fall in the meantime, The Simpsons, our yellow animated postmodern friends are back with a 30th season scheduled to debut on September 30th.

On November 4th, all romantic fans of the Diana Gabaldon time travel series “Outlander” are eagerly awaiting the first episode of the 4th season of the Starz show with the same news. Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan are back on the small screen. We are eager to witness the new adventures of Claire and Jamie as they venture into the New World of the 18th century America.

And next year we are also waiting for a third season from “The Crown”, following the history of the British Royal Family. This season will feature Diana, so the season is bound to be interesting.
