8th of March is the day we say, “Happy Women’s Day!” to mothers, wives, girlfriends, friends and simply women. So today would be a perfect day to remember how amazing women are!
Positive discrimination? Men changing their minds after centuries of male bondage and condescendingly offering women a sweet moment of appreciation? The reasons behind celebrating Women’s Day are intricate. What we’re trying to say is, regardless of reasons, women do deserve appreciation and here are some reasons why:
You’d say the greatest minds in history belong to men. But apparently the highest 2 IQ’s ever to have been recorded belong to women.
The first novel in the world, “The Story of Genji”, was written around the year 1000 AD by Murasaki Shikibu, who just so happened to be a woman.
It would appear women spend an entire year of their lives deciding what to wear. And maybe there’s no wonder, since a normal woman has an average 25 pairs of shoes, for instance.
