Going to the movies: the best films of this summer (Part 1)

If you are wondering about a fun, quick and relaxing activity for a Friday afternoon or a weekend, we suggest going to the movies: the best films of this summer of 2018 are here for you on a list we have prepared just for you.

So the next time you have the time, go online and get your car rental, gather all your friends and choose a movie for the occasion. This summer definitely looks promising in terms of things to see! So let’s check out a few of the films that will entertain you for a couple of hours in the coming weeks:

  • If you’ve seen Josh Brolin in the last installment of Avengers: Infinity War, you will surely want to see him star in Deadpool 2, one of the most anticipated comedies (slash action movies) of the year. Ryan Reynolds again outdoes himself, delivering an incendiary and hilarious performance, not to mention touching a soft cord in the (female) audience. If you haven’t already seen this movie, you’d better go ahead and go asap; you’re in for a surprise, as this anti-hero/ superhero movie will prove to be more romantic than expected.
  • Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom once again brings the fascinating if not a little scary universe of dinosaurs back in a modern take on this action classic. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are ready to take you on a new adventure in a movie you can enjoy with your whole family or with your group of friends.
  • How do you feel about movie remakes? The 1987 movie with Goldie Hawn and her future husband Kurt Russell, Overboard, was a total hit and an awesome comedy. So expectations are high when it comes to the modern and reversed 2018 take. The movie with the same name starring Eugenio Derbez and Anna Faris finds a conceited and spoiled playboy losing his memory and being played by a poor young mother whom he had humiliated.

Should we give these movies a shot?
