Going to Hollywood! – Part 2

We are going to Hollywood! Even if it is only a virtual tour of the place where the dreams are made more quickly and lived the most intensely, it is worth revisiting just how many things there are to do and to see in this wonderful place, where summer never seems to leave and the sun always shines more happily and with the most optimism.

You might have seen this one in “La La Land”, so you won’t be surprised to see it on the list. When Hollywood dwellers want to be outdoors, they usually go take a stroll (starlit or sunlit, depending of the time of day) through the Griffith Park and even visit the fascinating (if a little bit geekish) Observatory. If star-gazing is your thing (or musicals), you will love to set foot in this place as well.

And if you are planning to take your family (kids included) on the trip to Hollywood, just outside Los Angeles, you will all be happy to enter the mesmerizing and colorful world of Walt Disney in the Disneyland Resort. There are rides, Disney characters populating every corner, places to eat and spots for kids to play galore. The Disneyland California Adventure Park is, of course, the most unforgettable of the unforgettable experiences – if there’s such a thing.

A short ride away from Los Angeles, you can take a day trip to Santa Monica, a cluster of paradoxes itself. It is posh and laid back in equal measures, with its population ranging from rich filmmakers to surfers and artists. People love the beach here, but also the shopping facilities and the great variety of entertainment options (like clubs and restaurants) that it has to offer.

Did you know there is a little something for history buffs to enjoy even in L.A.? Actually it’s a great museum: the Natural History Museum, which records thousands of years of history in California!
