Blue Line – BUDAPEST – VIENNA tour
We have embarked at Budapest Keleti Palyaudvar Railway Station in Budapest and here we are, already on our fourth day of the trip, ready to explore another majestic European capital city, Vienna. Lush parks, imposing architecture, famous art museums and elegant palaces are all in store here.
This fairytale adventure begins with a visit to the Schonbrunn Palace, the summer house of the Habsburgs (Empress Sissi and Emperor Franz’s among them). Lunch is next and then we hop on the bus again for a driving tour around the best Viennese sites, from the Austrian Parliament and the great City Hall to the Heroes’ Square and the winter royal residence, Hofburg Palace.
From the bus, we’ll see the statue of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the musical genius born in Austria, the Vienna Opera House and many other important buildings.
In the evening, you can dine in the city center, close to St. Stephen’s Cathedral (which you can also visit), then take a walk in Stadtpark, among plants and sculptures (including that of Johann Strauss II).
What would Vienna be without music and waltzing? To end your day in Vienna in style, with the music of Strauss and Mozart, we can arrange for you to attend a Viennese concert.
Then we’ll stay in Vienna or a city nearby overnight. Among the hotels we usually use we mention: Park Inn by Radisson Uno City orRamada Encore Hotel Vienna City Center but if the situation requires it you will be accommodated in a different but equal three-star hotel in the city or a city nearby.
