A low cost trip to Prague

The fact that this autumn is by far not the most cold and rainy – instead it still looks pretty sunny and happy throughout part of Europe – is a sign that we can carry on with our happy vacation planning. How about another vacation idea, such as a low cost trip to Prague?

Prague, the beautiful and romantic (one may even say “bohemian”) capital city of the Czech Republic, is a wonderful place to visit regardless of season.

It may be a bit rainy and cold during the autumn months, but in case things pan out this way, you can always take refuge in an equally romantic (or “bohemian”) cafe or bistro to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of pie.

Prague has all the ingredients that add up to a perfect travel destination: great history and architecture, nice museums, a great boat trip on the Vltava River and low prices. The Czech Republic is a pretty inexpensive country, but that doesn’t mean there is any aspect to mar the beauty and elegance of the great city.

Services as well are accessible, so you can get lodgings or transport options like Prague tours and Prague airport transfers for very accessible rates.

Here are some of the attractions that are definitely worth putting on the list of things to visit:

  • The magnificent Charles Bridge, which dates back to the 14th century and provides the most dramatic views over the city and the grand river that crosses it.
  • The Prague Castle, the symbol of the town and a patrimony building which was erected in the 9th century and perfected over the centuries;
  • St. Vitius is one of the most amazingly fascinating churches you will ever visit. It is also a shrine and the place of deposit of the national Czech treasures.

This can be a great start for a Prague exploration!
