Cars today equal speed, elegance, accessibility, the mundane but also class and entitlement. There are many words to define it and the industry is one of the most prominent in the society nowadays. But in the past, owning a car meant so much more; it started off as something exotic, a mark of wealth and high class, then developed into a reality. 1.       The Goodwood 74th Members’ Meeting, scheduled to take place between the 19th and the 20th of March 2016, is a worldwide car collection and racing event and probably the greatest of its kind in the UK.

2.       Later this spring, between the 13th and the 15th of May 2016, the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique will fill the streets of the small and rich principality with enthusiasm and the roaring of classical engines. The race is exciting and full of action, although the maximum speed is way below that of modern Formula One races.

3.       The Italian counterpart of the Monaco Race, the Mille Miglia crosses the old route of the contest through some of the most dramatic landscapes in Europe.

4.       Also in Italy, you can take your classic vehicle to the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, to be held between the 20the and the 22nd of May 2016, the most glamorous contest in the calendar. The most polished old cars will compete by the shore of the Lake Como.
